They were staying at 605 WARD AVE near the old high school, just south of GOVERNMENT near BOWEN Ave and PORTER St and MAGNOLIA.

Residents can call 1-866-453-1925 to let someone know that they're OK. The Sun Herald is going to post these names on their website. Also, information below may help, especially the Salvation Army Team Emergency Network. CNN has set up a clearinghouse for info also, information is below.

Family members fill out a form and the network goes to work to try and get information on the family or friend's condition.

CNN has released the following info about finding people. Basically,

Those who are seeking and have not located friends and family in areas impacted areas by Katrina can email that information to [e-mail].

Those who are safe who have not had contact with friends, family but wish to let them know they are Ok can email that info also to cnn.com.

They will post this information on their website.

I've been plotting all the posted reports from that neighborhood on a map here because I'm looking for family that was staying nearby. You will need to look back to find it, but the info that was posted said that the Villa Maria apartments were okay and I *think* they said the residents had been moved. There was another post that said the water came up Jackson Street almost to Porter, so should not have reached Villa Maria, which is on Porter near Jackson.

I hope that helps. I didn't keep track of where exactly they were posted here, but I'm sure you can find them by using the search tool.

The posts were #81 and #84 in the "Storm Damage" thread. I could not locate the information about relocating the residents, so I may have seen that somewhere else, or may be getting it confused with something else I read. Sorry.

My sister is returning to her concrete slab of a home in St. Andrews tomorrow. If she has any additional information on the area, I'll post it when I get it.
She did mention that there is a way to get in that involves Airport Road and making her way around from there. If she gives me the details tomorrow, I'll post them. If it's just too heartbreaking for her, I dont 'want to press for directions. But there is a way in!
I do know that their house, and most in St. Andrews, are gone.
She did have neighbors across the street that stayed in their homes during the hurricane (actually, they had to tie themselves together during the storm and break into a neighbor's home to save themselves when their house was getting hammered by the hurricane and debris), but they made it through by some miracle.
Remember, communication is still out in Ocean Springs and probably will be for some time, and it seems they've only started going in and getting feedback maybe 24 hrs, so keep the faith - your missing loved ones may just be unable to contact you right now.

I am seeking information on the condition of Fleetwood Place, and street off of Holcomb near Brumbaigh. I am specifically looking for Terri Frederic, she is in her 40's (I think). She was with her mother, sister or sister-in-law, and her nieces and/or nephews. This is my best friend's mother and family. They were last heard from on Monday sometime between 1 and 2 pm.
