To all of you who emailed me with their family member's names and addresses.... most of them I have given to my boyfriend and he will go to those places that he can get to. On his way in to Ocean Springs on Hwy 90 heading westbound, he noticed some damage to buildings, but nothing that suffered complete destruction. He has been calling me from Ocean Springs on his Verizon cell phone and has been able to get full bars each time. His grandpa lives on Parkwood Place and his house looks ok with no major damage other than a few trees down in the backyard.

This info pertains to those trying to contact people who live on Parkway Place, O.S. All the homes on this street are able to receive calls on their landlines, but cannot call out. So if you haven't recently, try calling your family and friends at their homes and you should get through.

Missing Grandmother
My grandmother Gladys Maxey lives in the Gulf Oak Apartments (face the pool and beach, middle section). I have been unable to contact her and have no idea if she got out. Please email me at debrabieber@aol.com if you have any information. I am in Indiana and the not knowing if she is alright is almost to much to bear. Thank you and God bless.

Do you know where my dad is? Jack Hammer. I think he evacuated to D'Iberville where he always goes during storms. The last I heard from him was Sunday AM. Anyone who knows his whereabouts and safety please call 33-431-8769 or e-mail scoy91@earthlink.net. He is not computer or cell phone savvy. Thanx, Joy

My mother, sister and 5 nieces and nephews also live on Linda Circle. We have not been able to make contact with anyone there. If anyone hears anything please post as soon as you can. God Bless. THANK YOU! My ex's name is Dianne Merrill...she has three kids, Justin, Emily and Corbin. I am grateful for this news as I was beginning to fear the worst. If you hear any word on them, please email me at dudleyanddianna@yahoo.com Again THANK YOU. DUDLEY: We have word from our family on Linda Circle, OS that they have been spared the worst of the damage. No flooding, just some wind damage. My mother's house at 157 Linda Cir just had some damage to the roof. My cousins house 3 doors down only had some down trees and fence. I hope this will ease your worries a bit until you contact your family. Best Wishes.

Hi Jan, I am happy to see that you are OK. We have established contact with the Kulpas and they are OK. They too are worried about Bruce and Alice and have been unable to contact them. From a satellite photo it appears that homes on Hellmers Ln are structurally intact, but the level of flooding is unknown. I just tried to call but the line was busy. We are in Atlanta and will soon be driving to Mobile. Dan cell: 251-623-0612 Ellen cell: 251-623-0821 tel in Atlanta (until Sat): 404-814-5043 Kulpas contact in Atlanta: 678-377-5220 Take care, Dan & Ellen

-Traffic at the corner of Government St (Old Spanish Trail) and Hanshaw Rd is being controlled by the National Guard. They are letting people through. -Some houses along Deer St were completely submerged. -It is very difficult to get gas from just north of Mobile all the way to Ocean Springs.
