Praise God!
My uncle and his wife's family have been found. They were staying with in-laws at 605 Ward Avenue (near the old high school--south of Government, east of Magnolia) and only suffered minor damage to the outside of their home, with no flooding. Their own home is at 2424 Government and suffered no real damage.
I hope this information is comforting to those with family in those areas. God bless you all and you and your families are in our prayers.

I am looking for any information about my sister and her boyfriend. Arlene Burns and Sean Bergeron. They live at 7941 Helmsdale Drive, Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Arlene works at the Beau Rivage Resort. As like everyone else, I have heard no communication from them or even if the street they lived on is still in existence.
I would be very greatful for any information on there whereabouts. Information coming into Canada is very little about this area.
Please email me at Andre_Burns@yahoo.ca or Andyman1969@hotmail.com about any information.
I thank you graciously and I hope everyone else is allright. I will be praying for you all.
Andy Burns

Is Ocean Springs High School still being used as a shelter? My parents, Jack and Nena Mullenger at 290 Holcomb Boulevard, just down from the high school did not evacuate. I wonder if they are in their home or at the HS and unable to communicate. Thanks, Robert Mullenger 650-279-5612 Our family stayed on Stennis ave throughout the storm and are there now -- they said houses on stennis had some flooding (their's did not) and trees down but that was it. We got a phone call from them today. They can call out on their cell phones but we can't call through to them. I hope you're family is safe as well.

My grandmother is alive and well...she stayed in her house in St. Andrews on glen eagles drive and was able to contact us through a neighbor's cell phone. Her house only had minimal damage...so those of you who are thinking St. Andrews is a total loss....there is hope.

I have family and friends in Ocean Springs. My brothers are Bobby, Wayne, and Johnny Pitalo. I know they are okay, but have not spoken with any of the three. I heard that Pitalo's Auto Paint & Body shop was destroyed and that my brother Wayne's house was lifted off of it's foundation (St. Andrews area). I just wanted to let them know that our sister, Jackie is coming in from Ocala were I live. We packed the back of her truck with as many supplies as we could. Also, I have friends that I have not heard if they are okay or not. Their names are Terry and Vince Higgenbotham, Lancaster Lane, Windsor Park, N. Ocean Springs, and their mother, Sue Gladney. I would very much like to know if all are okay. If anyone can get in touch with my brothers or these friends, please tell them that we are praying for them all on a daily basis and my heart is breaking for them. My doors are open to any of them if they want to take a break from it all. Love all.... your sister, Cathy Pitalo Martin

Hello, I am looking for my Aunt, Juliet Christine Royster, her son Randy, and her grandson Christopher. They live on 147 Lafayette Circle in Ocean Springs. I wish I could give some landmarks to help reference their location, but it has been 7 or 8 years since I have been there last. If someone could give me any information about them or this area I would greatly appreciate it. My e-mail is belliott88champ@carolina.rr.com.

for pp who/what is the source that says there is bodies everywhere. I want to know 100 percent on that before I pass on to my family. My brothers house was/is on meadowlark the street before warbler. Any idea about that street. what was the address on warbler so I can tell if aroung that house. His house was on south side of meadowlark at 9125. Janet jbird@panhandle.rr.com My brother in law's home is on warbler -- his house had a tree on it but no flooding -- he says several of the blocks around him the houses are gone but did not specifically mention any houses on his street being gone--they were able to drive there from stennis --no mention whatsoever of fatalities etc -- our families stayed (warbler and stennis ave) --neither house substanially comprised and neither flooded (although others on stennis did flood) -- I wouldn't report that to family-- NO ONE in the media has made such a comment in that area --Hope you've heard from family by now
