Heidi & Al Hochstein just got through to me using a neighbor's cell phone. They are all right, just some shingle damage! It sounds like their neighbors on Grand Teton St in Parktown East are doing okay as well.

My daughter, Anna is with her mom in Monticello Blvd., Ocean Springs, MS. I talked to her the night before Hurrican Katrina hit land and I have not been able to contact her since then. Please, if anyone can tell me what the situation is, I will be very grateful. Pls. send message to LLPMA77@yahoo.com. Thank you. Finally, around 2:20 pm Pacific time today I got a text message from her saying she's OK although they are still flooded in. No power, phone service or utilities. Area still inaccessible. Thanks to everyone. I hope and pray that help and relief will come to all in need.

I found my family! They are all fine. My sister did lose everything in Diamond Head and her in- laws home made it through in Ocean Springs. She has been in a shelter for the last 2 days but a bank opened up today and she got some money and they left for a motel in Mobile where there is electricity and water. She said NO help has come to the OS area thus far no food water or any supplies. It seems like all the help is going to Louisiana and none so far to MS!!!!!! I sent a news tip to CNN complaining about this and asking to have it checked out. My sister and her husband will be traveling back and forth everyday to OS to check on the family left behind. She said she will call me everynight and let me know what is going on. I will try and post any news. If anyone wants to know about specific addresses, I can ask her how those places made it and get back to you. My e-mail address is gisellenightingale@yahoo.com. Good luck to you all and your loved ones and hopefully help will come to them soon.

To all members searching for family in the Area of Ocean Springs Hospital on Beinville Blvd. I spoke to a woman online today who advised that the hospital is functioning and that her Grandfather is there. Further more the area of Government Street was drivable although there was considerable damage from the storm surge. One person spoke of her home on Mermaid that weathered the storm and another in the area of Riverview. My prayers are with you all.
