My grandfather was at the Villa Maria in OS through the hurricane. We have had several short cell phone calls make it through. The following is all I know
-The residents were moved downstair to a common room for the storm, but have sense been allowed back into their apartments. -The building itself is intact -He stated that everyone is ok, but I can't gurantee this. -As of 10pm Wednesday evening, the Red Cross had been there distributing sandwiches and water. -The have 2 generators, one is working the elevators.
For the most part, it appears that the Villa Maria was very lucky.
