Have friends that live in Ocean Springs near Davidson and Holcomb Bv. Last we heard was a message saying Katrina was coming and that they were going to have a busy weekend. I live in So. Cal. and obviously haven't been able to get through by phone. Don't know if they evacuated or tried to stay. They have lots of animals. I'm worrried. Any information about that area would be appreciated!

Log on to www.wlox.com or WLBT 3 and you can get an aerial view of all Beach Blvd from Gulfport to OS bridge. This has been the best coverage so far, but they don't go into Ocean Springs.

What a bummer. I haven't been back to OS in years, but remember it as a great place to be. I used to live in Cherokee Glen. Anyone got a scoop on the condition of it and the Lane (Lovers) as well? I knew a lot of people there and really hope they're still kicking. I'm in Texas and haven't seen anything on OS via the news, etc. I've got to figure that if Pascagoula took that kind of hit and the coast (Biloxi, Gulfport) suffered that kind of devistation, OS must be looking pretty rough. If a Riorden or Beech reads this drop me a line, I'd like to know you guys are OK.

GULF HILLS STATUS?
Does anyone know about the status of the Gulf Hills neighborhood. My parents home is on East El Bonito and they are attempting to find out what has happened to it.
Please respond to kevin.barron@wth.org with any information.

Unfreakin' real. Yep, the bridge is definately history. I remember riding my bike across it to go to the mall (this is years ago). I'll never forget being on the coast in '69 visiting my relatives prior to Camille and then seeing it after she wiped it out. I never thought I'd feel those shivers again...I was wrong.

:-/Just heard from a friend who has seen Beach Blvd in Fountaine Bleu (spelling???)Estates (across from St Andrews Country Club) All houses after you make the 90 degree turn where Beach St changes to Beach Blvd are gone. Some of the bulkheads & foundations are still there. He did say some of the houses along Beach St were still standing.

I am trying to find Rick Argroves. Address: 2713 Hargrove. His wife and family are in Houston Tx. She heard from him Sunday before the storm and nothing since, he stayed behind with his parents Doug and Emma Jo Parker. Any news available would be appreciated here in Arizona. Norm...ntgray@citlink.net Thanks.
